Robert
S. Cole
Bob Cole is a former journalist who has directed public relations
for multinational banks in New York, Miami, Canada and Puerto Rico.
He also served as director of public relations for the New York
State Bankers Association and director of development for the Deafness
Research Foundation.
The author of
"The Practical Handbook of Public Relations" (called "perhaps
the best how-to book to arrive on the public relations scene"
by Public Relations Journal), he has taught public relations
and marketing at Pace University, St. John's University and City
University of New York. Bob is a past chair of Public Relations
Society of America's Financial Services Section. He just completed
a
three-year term on the board of American Association of People with
Disabilities and now chairs its Political Participation Committee
Susan
W. Cole
Sue Cole is an award-winning public relations professional who specializes
in reputation management, strategic positioning, and marketplace surveys
and audits.
Before forming
Cole Communications in 1994, she was managing director and head
of the corporate affairs/special issues group for Ogilvy & Mather
PR, serving clients throughout the United States and abroad.
Sue has extensive
experience coaching clients in media and presentation skills. She
has also led executive workshops in strategic communications planning
and productive agency relationships for the Professional Development
Institute and at the national convention of the Public Relations
Society of America. She is a director of the Westchester Association
of Development Officers.
Sue and Bob
co-author articles on public relations for the Westchester County
Business Journal.
